ENCAR/EREMIcontrol mix [50 cards x 60 pupae] (AB1)
Description
Encarline mix to control whitefly
Encarsia formosa / Eretmocerus eremicus mix
Encarline mix consists pupae of the parasitic wasps Encarsia formosa and Eretmocerus eremicus (50/50). The parasitic wasps will control the whitefly species: Bemisia tabaci, Trialeurodes vaporariorum and Aleyrodes proletella.
Encarsia formosa will go on a search for whitefly larvae a few days after introduction. The Encarsia parasitizes on the larva causing it to die. After a few weeks, a new parasitic wasp will emerge from out of the pupae. Encarsia formosa can be used in almost every type of crop with a temperature above 17°C.
Eretmocerus eremicus parastize the larvae of the white fly by laying an egg under them. When the egg comes out, the parasitic wasp larvae crawls into the whitefly larvae. After two weeks the whitefly larvae will die. Just before the hatching the pupae will turn yellow. This parasitic wasps will also feed on its host which is a big part of their effectiveness. Eretmocerus can be used in almost every crop above 15°C. E. eremicus can withstand high temperatures 40°C.
Product features
• Works on multiple whitefly species
• Parasitize upward of 15°C
• Eretmocerus eremicus is resistant to high temperatures
• High emergence rates by unique blister packaging
Packaging
Encarline mix is available in a blister pack.

Encarsia en Eremicus are also available separately as Encarline en Eretline in cards of 50 cards (3.000 pupae) or 250 cards (15.000 pupae) per set.
User instruction
When using encarline mix cards, it is important that the cards are placed at a place where the white fly lays its eggs. Do not hang the cards in direct sunlight. Avoid direct contact with the pupae, this increases the risk of damage.
