Description

The PT7 is a soft and flexible grafting clip for tomato, pepper and eggplant can be used in all climates. Availabe in all sizes between 1,2mm and 2,5mm and the clips are 100% recyclable. Royal Brinkman has developed a complete line of grafting clips of all crops. The growing circumstances of the seedlings depends strongly on the light circumstances and temperature. In western European countries with winter planting the seedlings usually are softer and longer than seedlings being used in southern European (Mediterranean) countries. In each area a different grafting clip is required.

Brinkman has different lines of grafting clips
For tomato, pepper and eggplant:

  • PT2: soft clip for Mediterranean climate
  • PT3: Softer than the standard clip with oval hole
  • PT4: clip for Mediterranean climate with stick slot
  • PT5: clip for Mediterranean climate with oval hole
  • PT7: soft, flexibel clip for all climates
  • PT8: soft flexibel clip with stick slot and a good grip
  • PT9: soft flexibel clip with extra grip for all climates

Cucumbers and melons are grafted with different methods. Therefore Royal Brinkman developed clips for both most used methodes, Japanese grafting and approximation grafting.

For cucumbers, melon and watermelon:

  • PS1: for Japanese grafting
  • PS2: for approximation grafting
  • PS3: for approximation grafting, available in 3 sizes
  • PS6: Same as PS3 but with stick slot
  • PS7: for Japanes grafting

The grafting clips can be supplied in different colors (red, green, yellow and transparent). This makes it easier to distinguish different varieties, batches or clip sizes. All clips are produced of materials with food safety certificates and are 100% recyclable. Years of experience has led to good results with these materials.

Grafting is continuously developing, therefore Royal Brinkman works together with growers all over the world to improve the clips as well. For more information please contact your account manager or one of our product specialists
