Description

Celine fully automatically measures the concentration of all individual nutrient components. Data is shared with cloud and greenhouse climate systems for automated watering and fertilization. Each measurement is calibrated internally by comparing field measurements with standard solution measurements, just like in the laboratory.

Celine produces automated, accurate and calibrated results.

The system:

  • The unit is installed in the greenhouse water room.
  • Irrigation and -drain water are connected to the unit
  • The filtration system is required to make 'clean' water

The measurements:

  • A small amount of liquid is needed for analysis
  • Required analysis is performed using reagents
  • After 30 minutes, the measurement results are available
  • Celine cleans and calibrates itself

The Celine measurement system measures the following macro- and mirconutrients:

NH4, K, Na, Mg, Ca, Cl, NO3, SO4, HCO3, PO4
Fe, B, Zn, Mn, Mo, Cu

How does the Celine Measuring System work?
Using a small capillary potential difference, nutrients move under the influence of the surrounding electric field due to the charge of the nutrient as it dissolves in the aqueous solution. The amount of different nutrients is specific to each ingredient. Thus, in the capillary, all the different food components move at different speeds.

The detector at the end of the capillary detects released nutrients. When a group of nutrients passes through the sensor, the signal changes and a droplet is formed. If there are more nutrients, a peak pattern forms. The moment the peak is over, the detector determines the nutrient component. The size of the spike corresponds to the concentration of this nutrient component.

Celine specifically specializes in automatically charging and cleaning the device before each new measurement so that it can be used online. In addition, the separation speed increases.
