Haifa VitaPhos-K 4-31-39

Haifa VitaPhos-K contains phosphate in the form of soluble polyphosphates. Unlike phosphate ions, polyphosphates remain in solution and will not precipitate.

In the root part, the polyphosphate chain will hydrolyze and release ortho phosphate to the plant over time. The speed of the hydrolysis process depends on the length and the spatial structure of the chain. Due to the specific composition of Haifa VitaPhos-K, the hydrolysis takes place at the right time and in the right place, namely on the surface of the roots.

Haifa VitaPhos-K prevents both a too rapid hydrolysis that leads to precipitation of phosphates and a too slow hydrolysis that leads to shortages. The pH value of the solution does not affect the rate of hydrolysis and the availability of phosphates.
