Chrysal AVB 1L
Chrysal AVB is a pre-treatment agent for ethylene-sensitive flowers. Chrysal AVB prolong the vase life of flowers, prevents premature contraction and button, leaf and flower fall. Treatment with AVB is mandatory for many types of flowers at the Dutch auctions.
The active ingredient in Chrysal AVB is silver. Chrysal has developed a neutralization method based on the use of Chrysal Tectitine and Chrysal Flocculine. In this way, most of the silver can be recovered before the remaining solution is discarded.
Several studies show that Chrysal AVB is much more effective than products based on amino-oxy-acetic acid (AOA) or Methylcyclopropene (MCP) in protecting flowers against ethylene damage and prolonging of flower vase life. When the product is used it brings no harm to the environment according to the instructions on the label.
