Florissant 830 is a pretreatment agent suitable for cut flowers. It lowers the pH of the water, optimizing water uptake and vase life, and keeps the leaf and stem of the plant firm and green. Florissant 830 contains extra food (biodegradable) which ensures the natural development of flowers and better preserves the color of the flower. This makes it ideal for flowers that need more food than Florissant 820 provides.

Florissant 830 is also suitable for 'somewhat on the green side' of cut flowers. It is suitable for all water types, can be dosed automatically and is approved for Protea for supply at the auction. Florissant 830 is suitable for all cut flowers except Anthurium and Gerbera.

Why is flower pre-treatment so important?

Application　

Florissant 830 is suitable for cut flowers cut on the 'green side'. It lowers the pH value of the water odorless and keeps the water clear at the same time.

The pre-treatment is suitable for all water qualities and cut flowers (with the exception of the Anthurium and Gerbera), but should not be used in buckets made of zinc, copper, iron or other metals.

Use Florissant at all points in the chain from grower to consumer and all steps in between.

Dosage　

Florissant 830 has a recommended dosage of 10 ml Florissant 830 per 1 liter of water. This dosage applies to all cut flowers for which the pre-treatment agent is suitable.

Use　

To use Florissant 830, follow the instructions on the label.

Always use clean buckets and clean tap water when preparing the pretreatment product. Prepare the solution of Florissant 830 immediately before use and do so in the correct dosage. Never mix old solutions with a new solution and put the freshly cut flowers in the Florissant 830 solution for at least 4 hours. at least 4 hours in the solution, there is no maximum time, the solution can be used throughout the vase life.

Any residue from the used Florissant 830 can be discharged into the sewer.

Avoid skin/eye contact with the concentrated solution.

Storage

Store Florissant 830 dark and cool, preferably between 5 °C and 25 °C. It is important to store the pre-treatment product frost-free.

Florissant 830 has a shelf life of 1.5 years if stored in a closed container and under proper conditions.
