Composition and shape of shading powder agent

Greenhouse shading powder agents chalk is produced by Hermadix on the basis of pure lime and an addition of a binding agent (starch). The products are available in bags. The solid form of this chalk is concentrated and smaller in volume. The amount of binder added to the lime ensures the service life of the shading agent. 

Wear resistance powder greenhouse shading agents

Due to the amount of binder added to the lime and thus the chalk, shading powder has a shorter life span than liquid shading agents. This makes shading powder well suited for dry, Mediterranean climates. However, the shading paint can also be used for a short screen period.

Removing shading powder

Shading powder agents cannot be removed with Removit or other cleaners. They wear off evenly, so removal is not necessary. This also saves labour.
