Description

Ephestia khueniella
Ephestia khueniella is the most suitable food for the cultivation of Macrolophus pygmaeus. EPHEScontrol is delivered as sterilized Ephestia khueniella flour moth eggs. The Ephestia eggs are a rich source of protein and serve as food for the predatory bug Macrolophus, If there are not enough white flies.

The predatory bugs Macrolophus pygmaeus against white fly, caterpillar and red spider mites is used in the spring mainly in tomato and pepper cultivations. The predatory bugs feed themselves by eating the content of the eggs. By feeding it is possible to build a population of predatory bugs, faster which can be very difficult without adding food.

Ephestia khueniella is harmless to the crop because the eggs are sterilized and therefore no larvae will develop from these eggs.

EPHEScontrol is well combined with Artemia Cysts.

Packaging
Ephestia khueniella is supplied in bottles of 10 or 250 grams of eggs with an orange moisture regulating carrier added.

User instructions
