Menno Florades is a powerful disinfectant with highly effective action against bacteria, fungi, viruses, and viroids. It is based on benzoic acid and specifically developed for agriculture and horticulture, with particular testing on plant pathogens. In the Netherlands, it is the only approved disinfectant with a registration as a plant protection product.

The activity of the solution is easily measurable via the pH value, effective at a pH of 3.0 to 4.5. You can measure this using pH indicator paper or a pH meter. If the pH of the solution increases, additional product can be added to restore effective disinfection.
