HD hook for high wire cultivation and wrapping machine use

The bare HD hook is a high wire hook without string, specially designed for use with wrapping machines. This hook is ideal for manually or mechanically wrapping twine, with or without free fall.

The benefits of the HD hook

Application in various cultivation situations

• The 180 mm hook is mainly used in lower greenhouses or for slower growing crops.
• The 220 mm hook is more suitable for taller greenhouses or for fast-growing crops such as cucumbers.

For situations where an even longer hook is needed, for example in cucumber cultivation in very tall greenhouses, there is the 260 mm Easy Hook. This has been specially developed for that purpose.

With or without free fall

This bare hook is intended for growers who want to decide how the string is wrapped:

• With free fall: For a fast growth start
• Without free fall: For controlled growth

The hook is suitable for wrapping machines that support both methods.

The hook itself is made from standard 3 mm steel wire. For extra strength, a version with 3.3 mm steel wire is available at an additional cost.
