Optimal use

The Valent O-Hook features two storage areas for twine, allowing for a precise, adjustable free fall. Unlike other hooks, the Valent O-Hook does not require the free fall to be tied with an elastic band. The twine is wound in an "O" shape through the storage areas. During installation, the free fall is released with a single hand movement, causing the twine to drop. The free fall is accurate to within five centimeters. The Valent O-Hook is a high-wire hook with a steel thickness of 3 or 3.3 mm, making it especially suitable for tomatoes with an average plant weight, such as medium-sized truss tomatoes and loose tomatoes.

Sizes and Twine

The Valent O-Hook is available in various sizes. The 180 mm high-wire hook is used in relatively low greenhouses or for slow-growing crops. The 220 mm high-wire hook is used in taller greenhouses, for cucumber cultivation, or other fast-growing crops. If you’re looking for a 260 mm high-wire hook, consider the Easy Hook. This hook, specially designed for cucumber cultivation, is also available in 260 mm. The Valent V-Hook can be supplied with polypropylene Valent twine or biodegradable twine in various thicknesses: 1/1000, 1/1200, and 1/1500. Additionally, you can choose from a variety of twine colors.
