Description

Optima Leaf-Cu+ is part of the Optima Leaf+ range, a product line of foliar fertilizers that are efficiently absorbed by crops. The ‘+’ indicates the presence of supplementary trace elements, which prevent unbalanced fertilization and demonstrably enhance the product's effectiveness.

Key functions of copper:

  • Essential during seed and fruit formation.
  • Necessary for chlorophyll formation and photosynthesis.
  • Strengthens cell walls, leading to stronger and more flexible plant cells.
  • Positively influences starch and sugar content, as well as the taste of fruits.

Possible causes of copper deficiency in plants

Low copper content in the soil.

  • Soils with high organic matter content retain copper, reducing its availability to crops.
  • Excessive phosphate and nitrogen in the soil hinder copper uptake by crops.
  • A high soil pH reduces copper availability.

Dosage:

Foliar application (maximum concentration 1:200, unless otherwise specified)
