Description

Biota Iron Powder 13% is an effective iron micronutrient supplement for crops. It is organically stabilized, easily soluble, and highly absorbable by plants. This product is compatible with modern irrigation systems and helps prevent iron chlorosis. Biota Iron Powder is stable across a wide pH range (up to pH 10) and is free from sodium and clay, making it safe for greenhouse equipment.

Storage:

Store Biota Iron Powder in its original packaging with the seal tightly closed. Keep it dry and dark, at temperatures ranging from 10 to 30°C.

  • Shelf life: 1.5 – 2 years.

Application:

It is advised to always consult an expert for creating a fertilization plan and to start with a test application. The exact dosage depends on soil conditions and the crop. No guarantees can be given in the event of incorrect use.

  • General application rate: 1 – 2 kg/ha
  • Between 5 and 15 grams per 1000 liters of water for vegetables (10 / 30 μmol)

Comparison to Traditional EDDHA 6% Iron:

1 kg Biota Iron Powder replaces 2 kg of traditional EDDHA 6% iron.

Preparing the A-tank (Fertilizer Stock Tank):

  1. Bring the pH to 4.
  2. Slowly add Biota Iron Powder to the tank.
  3. If the pH goes below 4, use potassium carbonate to raise the pH back to 4.

Note: Alternatively, tap water with carbonates can be used.

Average Dose:

1 kg Biota Iron Powder in 1000 liters of stock tank solution is good for 100,000 liters of irrigation water.

8 kg Biota Iron Powder in 1000 gallons of stock tank solution is good for 100,000 gallons of irrigation water.
