The Project
In 2017, Royal Brinkman took part of a promising project awarded by the Dutch government in order to implement “hydroponic agriculture and employment development” (HAED) in Jordan. Several entities local and international were part of the initiative, which helped two promising projects see the light. Royal Brinkman with the support of its partners (Mena Hydroponics, Vifra, Berg Hortimotive, Meteor and others) was in charge of the Abu Sido Project.
Abu Sido is one of the oldest agricultural families in Jordan, where the patient of agriculture found itself by several generations. For this project, the son, Mohammad Abu Sido, had a dream to implement the first high tech multi span greenhouse in Jordan, as his father before him implemented the first plastic Tunnels in Jordan in order to improve the local growing technics.
The Abu Sido project is 7054 m2 of Multi span greenhouse, including all the latest technologies:
Abu Sido is one of the oldest agricultural families in Jordan, where the patient of agriculture found itself by several generations. For this project, the son, Mohammad Abu Sido, had a dream to implement the first high tech multi span greenhouse in Jordan, as his father before him implemented the first plastic Tunnels in Jordan in order to improve the local growing technics.
The Abu Sido project is 7054 m2 of Multi span greenhouse, including all the latest technologies:
- Climate computer; the central system that controls (the irrigation, fogging and screening system,) in order to provide the right growing conditions to the young tomato plants.
- Internal transport: electrical trolleys in order to improve the work environment and efficiency.
- Growing medium, that provides the right nutritional elements to the plants and have them grown in the right condition.
