1. Use of shading screens and agents

Shading screens and agents are essential tools for improving greenhouse energy efficiency. By using a shading screen, you retain heat inside your greenhouse, even during cold days and nights, without relying on a boiler or CHP system. Shading screens also block energy radiation, preventing excessive temperature rises inside the greenhouse. The combination of these products helps create an optimal climate and boosts greenhouse energy efficiency by reducing energy consumption.

2. Isolate with film

During winter, isolating films are crucial for maintaining greenhouse energy efficiency, especially for warm crops. These films keep heat inside, reducing the need for additional heating. An extra advantage is that isolating films are quick to install and are a cost-effective solution. There are two types of films with insulating properties: 

1. Isolating film for the facade
If daylight is important, choose an extra-clear facade film that allows more light to enter. If light incidence is less important, opt for a natural facade film. 

2. Anti-Condensation film (AC film)

Managing humidity is essential for maintaining greenhouse energy efficiency. High humidity often results in moisture loss through open windows, which also leads to heat and CO2 loss.
