On January 1, 2027, Ton van Mil will fully pass the leadership baton, and Bas Brinkman will take on the role of CEO. From that point on, he will join CFO Gert-Jan van Peer on the statutory board. From 2027 onward, Ton van Mil will contribute more behind the scenes to the company's ongoing development. This transition is driven by confidence and strength. Royal Brinkman is a strong, forward-looking family business, and this leadership change is part of our long-term vision. It reaffirms the continuity that has defined our company since 1885.

Ton van Mil: “We are doing this at our own pace and from a strong foundation. 2026 will be a year in which experience and renewal strengthen one another.”

Bas Brinkman: “As the fifth generation, I am proud of what has been built. I will continue to build on the values that have made Royal Brinkman strong, so we can keep supporting growers worldwide.”

Growers, suppliers, and other partners can continue to rely on Royal Brinkman’s strength and support in the future. We remain committed to innovation, resilient cultivation, reliability, and international growth in the professional greenhouse sector. And above all, we continue to do this together: Let’s improve together. With the official handover in 2027, the fifth generation of the Brinkman family will confidently lead the business into its next chapter.
