Impact on raw materials and energy 
Rising oil and gas prices are affecting several product groups. In particular, products where energy is a significant cost component, such as plastic products and nitrogen fertilizers, may become more expensive. We are also seeing that some suppliers are revising or temporarily withdrawing previously issued prices due to the rapidly changing market conditions.

Impact on transport and delivery times 
Disruptions are also occurring in logistics. Shipping companies are currently avoiding certain routes, resulting in transport being rerouted. This may lead to longer transit times and higher transport costs. For deliveries from more distant regions, this could mean transport times are approximately two weeks longer than usual.

Availability and advice 
We are doing everything possible to secure prices and transport where feasible and to minimize the impact for you. At the same time, we are noticing that prices are currently less stable and delivery times may change. As a result, it is more difficult than usual to guarantee prices and availability for longer periods.

Since the situation remains uncertain, we recommend placing orders early when possible. This is especially important for products sourced from faraway regions or that consume a lot of energy during manufacturing.
