Sulphur burners for powdery mildew in greenhouses

Sulphur evaporators, or sulphur burners, are used to spread sulphur in greenhouses to protect against fungi, specifically to control for powdery mildew. Powdery mildew is a fungus causing powdery spot on the leaves of the plant. When you do not control powdery mildew, you are risking leaves become yellow and will die. Nivola sulphur burners

The Nivola sulphur burner works with a safe evaporation temperature. A maximum amount of sulphur is evaporated with minimal energy consumption. At the same time, a powerful air flow ensures that the sulphur vapour is well dispersed in the greenhouse. For more than 60 years, Nivola has been a specialist in powdery mildew control by means of sulphur burners. The Nivola sulphur burner is effective, low in energy consumption and has a long service life. An even distribution of sulphur in the greenhouse is important because it works on basis of contact. This means that it works at the place where the sulphur touches the leaf. So: the better the spread, the more leaf is touched and the greater the effect of controlling powdery mildew.

Due to new European regulations, Nivola has developed a special sulphur tablet. Previously, burners were used in combination with sulphur granules. The use of these unregistered substances is no longer permitted. Nivola has therefore developed special sulphur tablets that are durable and safe to use in combination with the sulphur burners. These tablets are permitted by law and very effective.
