Description

Q4 White is an extremely weatherproof and optimally adjustable shading agent specifically designed for glass, plastic film, polycarbonate and acrylic. Even at lower shading percentages Q4 White will not cause excessive wear to the ridge and it is very wear resistant, yet easy to remove with Removit. Therefore Q4 White is the best maximum weatherproof screen product on the market. Q4 White is patented.

User experiences show minimal wear off on the apex of the roof with the use of Q4 White. It is very important to shade the top of the greenhouse because the sunlight shines from early morning until late in the evening. The apex of the greenhouse roof is also most vulnerable to rain, hail and wind. The wear off on the apex is minimal with Q4 White. Many growers consider that a very good and desirable property of Q4 White.

Q4 White does not contain any components that are harmful to the environment.

Advantages Q4 White

  • Strongest shading agent
  • Highly weather proof
  • Adjustable shading percentage
  • Minimum ridge wear
  • Easily removable with Removit

Dosage Q4 White

With Q4 White it is possible to choose the most optimal shading percentage per crop. You can choose the right shading percentage by diluting the appropriate amount. The graph shows the shading percentage relative to the number of buckets per hectare of Q4 White.

Buckets per ha Shading Lifespan (weeks)+/- Weather resistance
3480%24 - 25Maximum
2575%22 - 24Maximum
2065%17 - 21Maximum
1655%13 - 16Maximum
1345%10 - 12Maximum
1040%8 - 10Maximum

Lifespan is measured in average European weather conditions. Extreme weather conditions may slightly affect the values specified.

Usage Q4 White

Calculate the number of buckets needed by reading the desired percentage from the table above. Add the shading agent to clean water while stirring. Use enough spraying liquid to evenly divide Q4 White on the roof of the greenhouse. The amount of spraying liquid needed for your roof depends on the manner of application. Use 1.200 to 1.400 liters per hectare when the shading agent is applied mechanically. When the choice for manual application has been made, we recommend to use 1.500 to 1.700 liters per hectare.

We advise to stir the solution during the process of application. Apply Q4 White on a dry and clean surface.

Q4 White can be removed from the greenhouse easily and safely at any moment with Removit. Some rain will wash off Q4 White after applying Removit in the right dosage. Q4 White also can be washed off manually if it does not rain for a long time.

Please note

Do not use Q4 White in combination with other shading products. Prevent the product from entering the basin during application or removal. Store frost free.

This difference influences the different manners of application for these two products.
Whitepaper 'Shading agents and diffuse coatings'
Warm springs and summers cause peaks in the greenhouse climate. Possible consequences are: reduced photosynthesis, delay in plant growth, loss of quality and lower production. You can prevent this with the right shading agent.
