Carolien joined Royal Brinkman in 2019 as product specialist crop protection. She advises on the possibilities of using biological crop protection products, and where necessary the use of chemical means of control. She is dedicated to helping growers set up integrated crop protection plans and is pleased to carry out scouting and give personalised advice where necessary.

Carolien finds personal contact very important; she likes to meet people and is clear in her communication. She is committed to finding a solution and takes time to answer questions clearly and give information that is applicable to the grower. She thinks with the grower, with the aim of preventing and combating pests and diseases in order to improve the quality and yield of the crop.  

Carolien graduated with HBO Horticulture and Arable in 2019. During her study, Carolien gained experience at other horticultural companies where she was responsible for, among other things, the biology.
