Description
Effective Monitoring with Yellow Sticky Traps
With signal plates, also known as sticky traps, you can monitor the presence of insects in the crop throughout the growing season. They are a reliable tool for early detection of pest pressure. The yellow sticky traps are highly effective at capturing pest insects. However, their use is not advised outdoors or in environments where bumblebees and (wild) bees are active, as the strong adhesive layer can also trap these beneficial insects.
Advantages of Yellow Signal Plates
- Good insect monitoring: The yellow signal plates are highly attractive to aphids, leaf miners, whiteflies, and fungus gnats, among others.
- Effective and user-friendly adhesive layer: The strong glue holds insects securely without sticking to your fingers.
- Quick and easy to use: The adhesive is covered with removable paper strips for easy handling.
- Counting grid for monitoring: The counting grid makes it easy to count insects and helps assess pest pressure accurately.
- Suitable for various crops: Ideal for both vegetable and ornamental crops.
Early Insight into Pest Pressure
The yellow signal plates naturally attract pest insects, providing early insight into the presence of pests such as aphids or whiteflies. The counting grid allows for easy counting of trapped insects, enabling effective monitoring of trends and increases in pest pressure.
High-Quality Plates, Ready to Use
The plates are coated with a strong adhesive on both sides, covered with removable paper strips, making them ready to use immediately. Thanks to the perforation holes, they can be easily hung using trap holders.
Strong Attraction to Insects
The yellow signal plates are particularly attractive to aphids, leaf miners, whiteflies, and fungus gnats. Blue plates are primarily used to monitor for thrips, while red plates are effective against leafhoppers.
Quick and Easy to Use
Remove the paper strips from one or both sides of the plate, depending on the intended application. Use the perforation holes to hang the plates on trap holders. Ensure proper positioning in and around the crop for optimal monitoring.
Storage and Transport
Inspect the product upon receipt for any irregularities and report any complaints or comments within 24 hours. Store the signal plates in a dry place, preferably at room temperature. Royal Brinkman is not responsible for any loss of quality if the product is stored under different conditions.
