All RW403 gearmotors are equipped with a self-locking worm gearbox. This transmission guarantees a locked position of the drive shaft when the drive is stationary. The combination of coordinated gears and worm gearboxes results in a low-noise drive.

The RW403 gearmotors are equipped with the patented RSU linear limit switch system with high switching precision operating and protection switches. The maximum switching range of the limit switch system is 86 revolutions of the drive shaft. With the optional RPU Positioning Unit it is possible to accurately report back the positions of a drive system to a (climate) computer. Position feedback is also possible by using a built-in potentiometer set.

The RW403 gearmotors are powder coated graphite grey and are supplied with fixing bolts and spring washers.
