Chelated Iron

Iron chelates are organic trace elements that bind iron like a claw. Nutrients are absorbed only when dissolved in water. Iron fertilization is always dosed in chelated form. This is because iron easily precipitates when in contact with other elements. Adding iron to the solution via chelates prevents this. Royal Brinkman offers a wide range of chelated irons, so there is a suitable version for every crop.

Easymix | A crop-specific and chelated trace element mix

Chelates are organic molecules that have the possibility to keep other elements available in the fertilizer solution. This claw named the chelate, ensures the nutrients are transported to the roots. Some trace elements are unstable when dissolved in the fertilizing tank, or when the pH in the root environment fluctuates. When the elements precipitate, it could cause a problem for the crop, since it is no longer able to take in every element needed.  To ensure the intake of every crucial nutrients, such as iron for example, chelates are inevitable. Iron should always be offered to the crop in chelated form, because it easily precipitates when in contact with other nutrients in the fertilizer tank and in the soil.

Selecting the correct chelated trace elements strongly depends on the pH level in your fertilizer tank and root environment.

Improved Libremix B

Before, the Libremix B was used as trace element mix with chelated trace elements. The reason for improving this mix, is because it was a general mixture, which could be used in every cultivation. In the end, this did not offer our customers much added value.
The improved version of the Libremix B now continues as Easymix Floriculture.

Easymixes

Easygro’s product line Easymix has been developed to be applied in cultivations specifically. Thanks to the chelated trace elements, the crop’s intake is regulated optimally. In different Easymixes the stability of the elements varies up to a pH of 9.

Advantages Easymix:
  • Low in sodium
  • Cultivation specific
  • Elements are available up to a high pH
