Meet Stefan de Zeeuw

Born and bred in ’s-Gravenzande, South Holland he was raised in and around his father’s greenhouse. Stefan de Zeeuw joined Royal Brinkman in 2019, in the role of their internal account manager for Asia. Using his knowledge and experience, he can take care of the full range of the client experience, from tender to shipment to delivery. 

After obtaining his bachelor in Logistics & Economics at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, he gave up working with his father’s freesias. His studies resulted in a structured working method, and a pleasant style of collaboration – two skills essential in both his past and current career. After 5.5 years in the fruit and vegetable industry, in a similar function, Stefan felt it was time to find a new challenge. Happily for us, he found it at Royal Brinkman.

Sorting out the full process from A to Z 

Whether it is processing orders, sorting out logistics, maintaining contact with transporters, clients, and suppliers, or even ensuring that the containers are shipped from the Netherlands to Asia: Stefan takes care of all of it. And it is this diversity that makes his job so challenging: “Sorting out the entire process from A to Z – combined with extensive client contact – that is where I get my satisfaction. You work together with many parties, and it is a fine challenge to ensure that everything aligns in such a way as to ensure maximum speed and efficiency for clients”. 

Knowledge

In addition to taking care of his clients demands on their behalf, Stefan also offers his help in other ways. “If a client has specific questions, I team up with a product specialist and try to come up with the best possible answer – because our product specialists have knowledge that is exceptionally valuable to our clients.”

Stefan in his spare time

When Stefan is not at work, he likes to spend as much time as he can with his family and friends. In addition to running and playing soccer, he likes to go on winter skiing holidays – whenever possible. When he is off-piste, he enjoys exploring the rest of the world. Over the past years, he has been on many wonderful holidays, including visits to the Canadian and US east and west coast, and also has trips to Israel, Costa Rica, and Thailand under his belt.
