Description
Mega Bio Chopper
The Mega Bio Chopper has been developed for shredding or chopping of horticultural crops during the crop rotation proces, such as: tomatoes, paprikas, cucumbers, eggplants, carnations, roses and similar crops. This machine works with transport fabric on which the plants are transported to the bio shredder. A feeder belt leads the plant waste is to the shredding unit, where it is shredded. The shredded crop is collected in a buffer container. This process reduces the crop volume to approx. 20% of it`s original volume.
Power and speed
The Mega Bio Chopper is a heavy duty machine and most suitable for large greenhouse areas. Crops with a high plant density, weight and volume, such as cherry tomatoes, are processed at high speed. The logistic process for driving out the shredded crop waste often determines the eventual working speed of the machine. A minimum of two forklift trucks with hydraulic 2750 ltr or 3800 ltr tipping containers are often required, in order to be able to work continuously. Every forklift truck driver can remotely control the emptying of the buffer container.
Crop rotation method
Characteristic for this Mega Bio Chopper machine is the two-sided infeed. The advantage of this system is that the greenhouse can be cleared from the back to the front in one go. This allows you to proceed with other activities in the greenhouse immediately after shredding whereby the central path is free.
Shredding
All functions of the Mega Chopper machine are integrated in a robust remote control. The independent swivelling fabric rollers provide easy control of the transport fabric. This ensures straight and fold-free winding of the transport canvas. The shredding unit is equipped with an auto-swivelling discharge tube. This fills the buffer container completely and enables full use of the buffer's capacity.
Mega Chopper advantages:
- Two-sided input of crop
- Large capacity
- Suitable for heavy duty work
- Is built according to the latest safety standards
Options:
- Lighting
- Tool box
- Service Pack
- Metal Detection
- Utensils with cores
