Effective against multiple pests

Neoseiulus californicus is a predatory mite that primarily feeds on spider mites and soft-bodied mites but can also survive on other food sources, such as pollen and thrips. It is suitable for use in a wide range of ornamental and vegetable crops. An adult Neoseiulus californicus can consume up to five spider mites per day. Unlike the larvae of Phytoseiulus persimilis, young larvae of Neoseiulus californicus can also feed on spider mite eggs.

Instruction for use

Keep the product cool until use. Allow the product to reach (greenhouse) temperature gradually. Avoid too fast increase of temperature, this can lead to a temperature shock for the predatory mites. Keep the product out of direct sunlight. Mix the product well before use. This will ensure a good distribution of mites in the material and in your crop (keep mixing the material during application). Shake the material in small quantities on your crop. Avoid contact with heating pipes. The amount of application always depends on the pest pressure in the crop, so ask the product specialist for the correct dosage.

AMBLYCAcontrol is available in various sachets containing different quantities of predatory mites. A comparable product from another supplier may be delivered depending on availability and quality.

Storage and transport

Inspect the product upon receipt for any irregularities and report any complaints or concerns within 24 hours. Use the product immediately for optimal results. If storage is required, keep the product in a dark, ventilated area at a temperature of 59–64°F (15–18°C) and a relative humidity of 75–80% for no more than 24 hours. Royal Brinkman is not liable for quality loss if the product is stored for longer or under different conditions.
