Using cleaning agents is an essential part of greenhouse sanitation. Royal Brinkman offers a range of specialized greenhouse cleaning products for optimal hygiene in your greenhouse. From cleaning your water system to your hands and greenhouse glass.
Highly effective cleaning agents for greenhouse sanitation
Hygiene, a key component of any serious operation protects against the threat of virus/disease outbreak, which can have the potential of wiping out your entire crop. Avoid this with proper planning and preparation. Thorough cleaning and disinfecting of your entire operation and implementing hygiene protocols for your staff/equipment are important measures to control such threats. Cleaning is the removal of plant matter, plant juices, dust, dirt or grease. For this, you use a cleaning agent. Cleaning does not kill microorganisms.
First clean, then disinfect
For optimal hygiene, ensure that the material or surface you want to make disease-free is first cleaned with greenhouse cleaning products. This removes dirt and grease. By removing this layer of dirt and grease, you can effectively target stubborn bacteria, fungi, and pathogens hiding underneath with a disinfectant. The second step is disinfecting. A disinfectant can kill stubborn bacteria, fungi, and pathogens. A cleaning agent does not do this. A surface may appear clean after using a cleaning agent, but it is not always truly clean!
Our greenhouse cleaning products
Royal Brinkman offers a wide range of cleaning agents for:
- Cleaning hands: personal hygiene is important to prevent contamination . Therefore, it is important to clean your hands with Fadex Rapid (for wet and dry hands).
- Cleaning the greenhouse glass: glass cleaners based on fluoride or biological products such as greenhouse glass clean or flusol forte.
- Cleaning the irrigation system: it is important to clean your drip system with acid treatment or a hydrogen peroxid.
