Spraying machines for surface treatment

Empas spraying equipment is known for its simplicity, practical use and safety; both in ornamental, vegetable, bedding and potted plant cultivation. When buying a spraying machine, it is useful to consider a number of things. Empas spray carts are in fact available in two different versions: 3-wheel and 4-wheel spray carts. In addition, you should consider other factors such as:
  • Surface area: since not every greenhouse has the same surface area, it is important to identify the size of the surface area to be sprayed. Based on this, you need to make more or less spray liquid which in turn affects the size of the spray tank;
  • Height of the crop: mainly important when you want to spray the crop using a spray boom;
  • Length of paths: the length of a path, lattice or canopy is important for the amount of spray hose you need for a spray tank;
  • Spray liquid and pressure: depending on the spray liquid and pressure to be sprayed, you choose a diaphragm or plunger pump.
Using an Empas spray cart, you drive through the greenhouse to spray the crop. Besides the spraying carts on pneumatic tires, you can also choose a spraying cart on the pipe rail system, manual or fully automatic like the Meto spraying robot.

3-Wheel spray carts

The 3-wheel Empas spray carts are designed for medium-sized areas in indoor and outdoor cultivation. The Atlanta spray cart is a sprayer with a tank capacity of 200 or 400 liters and is available in various sizes. View the wide range of 3-wheel spray carts at Royal Brinkman.

4-Wheel spray carts

The 4-wheel Empas spray wagons are designed for large to very large areas in indoor and outdoor cultivation. The Georgia sprayer cart features various volumes of tank capacity (600 - 2000 liters). View the diverse range of 4-wheel sprayer carts at Royal Brinkman.

Pump sets for spraying machine

A pump set is an important part of a spraying machine for spraying crop protection products, for example. Empas pumps are available in different versions, including a diaphragm and plunger pump. Depending on the liquid and pressure to be sprayed, you choose the pump for your spray machine. In combination with a spray machine, a dosatron is often used. This makes it easier to apply the correct dosage and ratio.

Spray reels in horticulture

Spray reels improve working conditions during spraying or pouring. Pulling or dragging a hose is often inconvenient and also takes time. In our product range, you will find electric spray reels from Berg Hortimotive. Using an electric spray reel, the hose is simply unwound by a magnetic coupling in the drum of the spray reel. If you have a canopy more than 50 meters deep, we recommend using a spray reel with a guide. This rolls up the hose neatly and works more efficiently. Spray reels are used for various jobs in horticulture, including pouring the crop, spraying pesticides, cleaning the greenhouse and local correction in an organic crop.

Alumax spray lance and spray guns for spray carts

Using an Alumax spray lance, (chemical) crop protection agents are spread over the crop to be treated. A spray lance or spray gun has different nozzles (attachments) with which you determine the delivery of the spray lance. To calculate the correct output, use the spray chart for your Alumax spray lance. A spray lance is frequently used in conjunction with a pressure washer to clean large areas.

Spray guns often include a handle, pressure gauge and spray wand and are used in combination with an Empas spray cart or hose reel, for example. The spray guns in our range are available in various sizes. Spray guns are also used for chalking and cleaning the greenhouse.

Cleaning and maintenance Empas sprayers

After using your sprayer, it is important to clean it properly. Poor cleaning can cause crop protection products to get to places where they are not wanted. This can cause crop damage. Cleaning your Empas spraying machines has several benefits. Cleaning ensures a longer life of your Empas spraying equipment. However, you also need to perform regular maintenance due to insurance reasons. If your spraying equipment is older than three years, your equipment should be SKL inspected every three years. This includes spray carts, horizontal and vertical spray booms, spray robots and spray booms connected to a monorail.
