Description

Chlorine bleach lye, or sodium hypochlorite (NaOCI), is used for, for example, cleaning drip systems with organic pollution. Attention: This product is not approved for disinfecting water systems.

Application
When applying chlorine bleach lye/sodium hypochlorite it is important to use chlorine bleach lye first, then flush and then apply the acid. This product contains 900 liters of which 150 grams of active chlorine per liter.

Dosage
For chlorine bleach lye during cultivation a dosage of 4.5 - 5 ppm Cl is used.

Chlorine bleach lye contains 15% Cl, so a dosage of 4,5 ppm Cl is used:

4,5 Cl x 6 2/3 = 30 ml per m3 supply water

The dosage can be checked with test strips Cl.

Packaging
Chlorine bleach lye is available in packages of:

  • Can of 20 liter
  • Barrel of 200 liter
  • Box/IBC of 900 liter

Chlorine bleach lye (also called sodium hypclorid) is used to clean drip systems.
