Features of Greenhouse Glassclean

Greenhouse Glassclean is a cleaning agent for the interior and exterior of greenhouses in the horticulture sector, suitable for AR-coated* and non-coated glass. GGC is based on 100% organic acids, natural plant extracts, and bio-based solvents and surfactants. It has strong descaling and cleaning properties, effectively removing algae, moss, green deposits, limescale, and other mineral contaminants.

It includes special components that create long-lasting, stable foam, making it suitable for foam cleaning applications. This allows for extended working and contact time on surfaces, even on vertical planes.

Biodegradable

GGC is an excellent biodegradable alternative to aggressive fluoride-based cleaners. Fluoride-based products release harmful vapors that can damage neighboring crops, requiring their use only in empty greenhouses. Additionally, their working time is strictly limited—fluoride products must be rinsed off within 10–15 minutes with ample water and pressure to prevent glass damage.
In contrast, GGC has a more flexible working time. While rinsing is still recommended for optimal cleaning results, GGC poses no risks to glass or crops. It contains no hazardous components, is gentle on the skin and respiratory system, and is completely safe for humans and animals.

Because it produces no vapor effect, GGC is ideal for use in greenhouses with vapor-sensitive tuber and bulb crops like freesia and lilies. Another advantage: GGC is 100% safe for the environment. It fully breaks down into renewable resources within 28 days. By using GGC, you can more easily meet purification requirements and zero-emission regulations.

Application of Greenhouse Glassclean

Use this organic glass cleaner to clean the greenhouse by applying the cleaning solution with a spray lance, foam system, or foam lance on a pressure washer. Let GGC work for 25–30 minutes, then rinse away the dirt with appropriate pressure. Allow the glass to air dry. GGC is generally safe for most crops, so the greenhouse doesn’t necessarily need to be empty. However, it is recommended to test the product on specific crops beforehand.

Dosage of Greenhouse Glassclean

The optimal solution concentration is 3–5%. For extremely heavy limescale or contamination, the product can be applied as foam to extend contact and working time. The dosage can also be increased up to a maximum of 10%.
