Description
Oxalic acid is an organic acid, in solid form. It is mainly used as a cleaning agent for lime, mosses and algae on greenhouse decks and rods. Oxalic acid causes the algae and mosses to kill off, which causes them to become loose. Oxalic acid is a natural and very environmentally friendly product.
Application
Oxalic acid can be used against chalk, mosses and algae, but can also be used for discoloration due to moisture, rust and aging in wooden and stone objects or clothing. It also removes limescale from ships and oxalic acid removes rust from cars and engine blocks. Oxalic acid is therefore a very versatile and useful product.
Dosage
Dissolve 5-10 kg of oxalic acid per 100 litres of water. It is recommended to use hot water.
Instructions for use
Dissolve oxalic acid in water and apply to the greenhouse deck. Preferably do this in winter when no rain is expected and in cold weather. Let it soak in for a few days, after the application time the pollution will wash off with the rain (showers). Prevent cleaning agents from getting into the water basin.
Environment
Oxalic acid does not affect the environment and has no ADR classification. Thoroughly clean used equipment and materials with water after treatment.
Packaging
Oxalic acid is available in bags of 25 kg.
