Specialty adhesive for bonding pipe systems with high concentrations of acids and alkalis.

For bonding thermoplastic PVC-U pressure pipes in accordance with EN ISO 15493, and PVC-C. Max. temperature 60°C.

The adhesive connections are watertight. Their chemical resistance, especially with inorganic acids, depends on tube tolerances, curing times, pressure loads, temperatures, type of acid and acid concentration.
Use Tangit PVC-C in the case of PVC-C pipes that are under pressure and operate at high temperatures (please ask for the separate technical data sheet).
In general, adhesive connections of ABS, PVC-U or PVC-C pipes bonded with the respective Tangit adhesive are as resistant as the material from which the pipe is made.
