Description
Back wash valve
The Bermad patented back wash valve is specially designed for flushing filters. The 2-3w priciple has an unique membrane controlled valve. The short stroke of the valve changes the flow direction gradually. The inlet port closes before the water inlet is opened again. This keeps the rinse water separate from the water to be purified. A simple operation that saves both water and energy. Due to the special seat and valve, the back wash vale closes perfectly, even at relatively low operating pressures.
The valve design allows montage in different positions and proviedes optimal seperation of rinsing and filter water. For specific applications, a reserve flow valve is also available.
Applications
The back wash valve can be applied to all filters cleaned by reserve flow, such as sand filters, filter boilers and automatic ring filters. A very simple automation is achieved when two or more filters are installed in parallel. As son as the flush valve recoeves an opterating signal, the supply top the filter closes and the flush line opens. With the filtered water from another flter, a back wash takes place. This cleans the entire filter unit step by step!
