Description
Tunnel irrigation
While in greenhouse irrigation the (sometimes minimal) overlap is always taken into account, in tunnel irrigation each tunnel is considered separately. Tunnel irrigation is therefore more difficult than is often thought. With one or two pipes a good water distribution must be achieved, both under and between the pipes and outside the pipes. The height in tunnels is often limited and the facades can impede a good water distribution.
Only the DAN micro-sprinklers can be equipped with an anti-fog, which causes more water to fall at the end of the nozzle range. This is necessary to provide sufficient water on the sides of the tunnel as well. Through sophisticated combinations of sprinkler/antimist/sprinkler/piping distance and suspension height, good irrigation has come within reach for every tunnel. The DAN sprinklers are ideally suited to provide a suitable solution for each tunnel: maximum uniformity and minimum water against the walls.
