Description
Circukonfilter UDI 6" 435 micron
Strong steel with resistant plastic provide a filter suitable for many purposes. The UDI circukon filter has a PVC filter element with a stainless steel filter mesh from 75 to 800 microns. The dirt is collected continuously during operation so that there is no increase in
the pressure difference. This is accomplished by a specially designed swirl plate with four obliquely drilled openings.
The inflow speed is optimized by removing or adding plugs.
Many applications are possible due to a large flow rate difference per orifice. The entire filter area is optimally utilized by a uniquely designed spiral groove under the filter mesh. The dirt collection chamber is a part of the filter element. The conically shaped inlet prevents backflow of the dirt. The filter cover is light and easy to handle.
The dirt disposal can be easily automated. To increase the dirt removal capacity the filter can be applied cross-flow. All models can be connected modularly to form units of any shape and capacity, possibly with a joint dirt disposal tank. For the assembly of the units there is a wide range of fittings and quick connectors available from the same manufacturer. As an option the filter can be made in stainless steel.
Application areas
- Recirculation systems
- Cooling water process
- Basin water filtration
- Irrigattion systems
Coating
In preparation for coating, the filters are coated with a special layer of zinc phosphate. This treatment ensures good adhesion of the coating and protects against rusting through from the inside. Then the polyester coating is applied electrostatically,
both internally and externally and then hardens in the oven. The total process consists of 7 steps and results in a perfect coating with a thickness of about 120 microns.
Version
In-line filter housing, downward directed dirt collection space in the filter element.
Materials
- Polyester coated steel
- neoprene rubbers
- Nylon swirl plate
- PVC filter element with stainless steel filter gauze
