Application
BOILERSOFT Onem is a very powerful water treatment product for boiler water treatment, such as low pressure boilers in green houses. BOILERSOFT Onem can be applied in situations where softened water or filtered basin water are not present. BOILERSOFT Onem will prevent lime deposits, corrosion in the boiler and will optimize the steam quality for an effective surface disinfecting. BOILERSOFT Onem contains an oxygen scavenger and a metal passivator to prevent corrosion. BOILERSOFT Onem contains hardness and corrosion dispersants, which prevents precipitation of lime deposits and corrosion particles. BOILERSOFT Onem contains antifoaming agents to prevent wet steam. The surface disinfecting can only be optimal if there is dry steam.

Dosing
The dosing of BOILERSOFT Onem depends on the hardness of the boiler feed water. De basic dosing of BOILERSOFT Onem with tap water (6 °dH) is 700 g per m3 feed water. An extra dosing of 60 g BOILERSOFT Onem per m3 feed water has to be applied per 1 °DH (maximum dosing is 1000 g/m3). Also the blow down percentage is higher at higher hardness. The thickening is then 5 times max.
To determine the right dosage of BOILERSOFT Onem, regular checks can be done; the polyphosphate amount has to be between 10 and 20 ppm. Also the total hardness and temporary hardness have to be checked.
