Ducanit is a calcium nitrate fertilizer (Ca(NO3)2) and contains calcium and nitrogen in nitrate and ammonium form. Of all available calcium nitrate fertilizers, Ducanit contains the highest proportion of nitrate.
This calcium fertilizer contains a low proportion of insoluble parts and is low in chlorine. Calcium is an important element for the strength of cell walls and cell membranes. Solid cell walls ensure a better shelf life and an increased yield. Moreover, calcium is essential for root growth.
Avoid calcium deficiency at all times, with all its consequences. This can be prevented or solved with Ducanit.

Application
If Ducanit has been dissolved, it can be applied via drip irrigation systems, hydroponic solutions, foliar application, leaf application or directly.

1 Liter of the solution provides 155 mg nitrogen, incl. 144 mg nitrate nitrogen and 11 mg ammonia nitrogen, plus 190 mg calcium to the plant. |
| Foliar fertilizing | Dilution ratio: 500-800 g/100 liter water.
Use max. 10 applications per season. |
Storage
Ducanit is a hygroscopic calcium fertilizer, meaning it attracts humidity with a result of it lumping/chunking. Therefore, Ducanit is recommended to be used completely at once. If not, it must be packed tight, without any exposure to outside air.
