How does sieve filter work as a filter technology?
A sieve filter is a filter technology that is often used in horticulture to measure the contamination of the water in the first part of a filter installation and to apply a pre-filtration in advance. This way the sequential part of the filter installation is protected against large dirt particles. A sieve filter is particularly suitable for the filtering of process water, cooling water processes, waste water, recirculation systems, irrigation systems and pre-filtration of disinfection systems.
Filter principle
Using a sieve filter the water is filtered from the outside in. The dirt will accumulate on the outside of the filter element. The advantage of this is that the dirt can easily be removed.
