Description

Protect your steel structures and heating pipes from rust

Hermopal white paint protects your steel structures and heating pipes against rust while optimizing heat output.

Benefits of Hermopal paint

  • Protects against rust and oxidation: The combination of primer and topcoat ensures long-lasting protection in every layer.
  • Enhances heat output and light reflection: At a water temperature of 78°C, a Hermopal-coated pipe emits 35.4 W/m² of heat—significantly more than rusted or galvanized pipes.
  • Suitable for both new and existing pipes: Ideal for painting both new and existing pipes.
  • Safe for your crops: Hermopal is guaranteed safe to use.

Rust and oxidation protection

Hermopal white paint is a high-quality primer and topcoat designed to protect steel structures, such as heating pipes, from rust and oxidation. Its unique composition makes Hermopal particularly suitable for use in greenhouses, as it withstands moisture and high temperatures.

Improves heat output and light reflection

Treating heating pipes with Hermopal not only prevents rust but also increases heat output, which is vital for effective climate control in your greenhouse. Additionally, the white color enhances light reflection, promoting better crop growth.

Suitable for new and existing pipes

Hermopal is suitable for both new and existing pipes. The combination of primer and topcoat ensures anti-rust protection in every layer. Its high-quality formulation provides long-lasting protection.

Application of Hermopal paint

Hermopal can be used on all types of ironwork. For heating pipes, apply the paint to pipes that are warm to the touch (a pipe roller may be used). Hermopal does not provide insulation and is completely safe for crops once dry. For new ironwork, it is recommended to apply at least two coats for optimal protection. Coverage is approximately 1 liter per 10 m² or 70 meters of pipe (diameter 51 mm). After application, allow the paint to dry for 24 hours at room temperature. Then heat the pipes for 48 hours (2 × 24 hours) to remove any residual fumes. After this, crops can be safely placed in the greenhouse.
