Safety precautions
- Preferably, the unit should be completely disconnected by removing the plug from the socket or fuses from the fuse group.
- If it is not possible to disconnect the unit from the power supply, be extremely cautious. Use well insulated tools and do not touch wire ends, connections or electrical components with bare hands. Keep the area dry and make sure there is someone nearby who can look after you. Never work on the UV lamp or in the cabinet of the power control if the power control is not yet de-energized. Software-only maintenance of the unit is not sufficiently safe.
- When working in the control cabinet, wear a grounded wrist strap. Otherwise, the electronic components may fail due to static electricity.
- The service wall socket in the control cabinet (if any) may be loaded to a maximum of 1 A. Only equipment marked "SELV" or "Class II" may be connected to it. Only equipment marked "SELV" or "Class II" may be connected to the RS232 ports of the process computer and the lamp supply module.

The dosage of acid stagnates. As a result, the quartz tube becomes dirtier. Ultimately, this will lead to an alarm because the desired dose of UV-C will no longer be reached or because production will be too low | The storage tank is empty and is not equipped with a minimum level switch | Place a new storage tank. The acid system may need to be vented again |
There is air in the suction tube | Installer: Ventilate the acid system
The injection valves are clogged (this can be seen from the leakage of the diverter valve) | Installer: Replace the injection valves and the diverter valve
The dosage of hydrogen peroxide (if applicable) is stagnant. This is shown by periodic monitoring of the water at the inlet side of the UV-chamber (this can be done with an indicator strip) | The storage vessel is empty and is not equipped with a minimum level switch | Place a new storage tank. The suction hose may need to be vented again |
There is air in the suction tube | Installer: Ventilate the suction hose
The nozzle in the venturi of the dosing channel is clogged | Installer: Clean the nozzle
The drive water pump (if applicable) is defective | Installer: Replace the drive water pump
The standby circuit of the power control has failed | Possible causes: | The power control only starts electrically after the standby switch has been pressed or via the control software (if the required hardware and software has been implemented) |
