Kevin van Kester is Quality Controller at Royal Brinkman. He is happy to share his knowledge and experience in the field of quality management of biological crop protection. He is structurally concerned with ensuring quality by means of:

Remco de Pater is pleased to share his knowledge and experience in electrical engineering. He is a specialist in electricity, climate and lighting and is a calculator/work planner for Royal Brinkman.

• Carrying out quality control of beneficial insects, mites and nematodes using IOBC guidelines.
• Carrying out crop inspections by means of rinses.
• Working with suppliers, product specialists and growers to improve products and packaging and make them more sustainable. For example, Kevin advises on how to handle products in terms of storage, packaging, transport and application.
• Optimising and monitoring logistical processes (closed refrigeration chain).
• Providing advice and training in the area of quality control of beneficial insects, mites and nematodes.
• Supporting product specialists to increase the yield of biological control.

Kevin says he is pleased to be able to contribute to the sustainable strategy: "Because Royal Brinkman buys from different producers in Europe, we determine the range of biological crop protection products on the basis of quality. Good quality ensures high effectiveness in the crop, so fewer chemical treatments are needed, which benefits the plant, people and the environment."

Kevin is always willing to give clear explanations and advice. To support Royal Brinkman's product specialist, Kevin solves difficult questions using laboratory techniques, literature and his relationships with various producers in Europe. Giel van der Hoeven
Giel van der Hoeven is coordinator service and maintenance for Royal Brinkman. He gives advice and is responsible for the coordination of service, maintenance and inspection in the technical disciplines: water, electricity, climate and mechanization.

Lowie advises on the possibilities of using biology and biological crop protection products, and where necessary the use of chemicals. He is dedicated to helping growers set up integrated crop protection plans and is happy to visit the company to scout and give personalised advice where necessary.
