Films for on the gutter/drain

Gutter film

Films for on the cultivation gutters prevent diseases and plagues from adhering to the gutter. Because of the smooth film the fungi, bacteria and viruses have a smaller chance to grow in the cultivation gutter. The gutter film also prevents roots from growing way out of the substrate mat where they would have the chance of infecting other plants. A second important advantage of the film is the cleaning of the gutter at the end of the rotation circle. After removing the film, the gutter is still 95% clean. Only the drain gutters have to be cleaned. This saves a lot of time and labour! Moreover the gutter film provides a longer life time for your gutters.

Custom film lengths

Growers want to receive specific measured films more often. This is possible by the different wrapping possibilities. It's important to take the loss of inserting into account when you send us the right measurements
. When the film is being rolled out, it will never be as tight as it is on the wrapper. The greenhouse seems to be very flat, but on site it appears that more film is needed, because of wrinkles and inequalities on the greenhouse floor. In reality a 100 meter film is 3% shorter when t's rolled out. Take into account that you always calculate approximately 3% more. (For example, a 100 mtr roll = 103 mtr, a 300 mtr roll = 309 mtr)
