How to solve malfunction of an Enbar LVM 

Your Enbar LVM may have a malfunction or other problems may occur. In that case, it is important that you act as soon as possible to resolve the fault or problem, so that employees can then work safely with the Enbar LVM again. Compressor does not start

There are several causes if the compressor of the Enbar LVM does not start. All possible causes and solutions are listed below.
  • Possible cause: No voltage
    • Solution: Check if the plug is in the wall socket and if there’s voltage on the plug by letting the unit fog for a short time. 
  • Possible cause: Compressor is already at pressure. 
    • Solution: Check the pressure gauge reading on the tank. The switch-off pressure is approximately 8.5 bar. 
  • Possible cause:Pressure switch is not switched on. 
    • Solution: First turn the pressure switch knob to 'O' and then to 'I'. 
  • Possible cause:Motor protection has been deactivated due to overload, phase imbalance or short circuit. 
    • Solution: Check the position of the motor protection switch and warn the supplier. 
  • Possible cause: Faulty fuse in the power supply. 
    • Solution: Check the fuse of the group to which the Enbar is connected.

Compressor is running slowly

The possible cause if the compressor of the Enbar LVM is running slowly, can be the following:
  • Possible cause: Relief valve does not work properly.
    • Solution: Warn the supplier.

Fan(s) not running

The possible causes if the Fan(s) of the Enbar LVM is not running, are listed below.
  • Possible cause: Fuse defective in the central cabinet.
    • Solution: Unplug the power cord from the wall socket. Replace the fuses. When they burn out again: warn the supplier. 
  • Possible cause: Fuse defective in the cabinet on the unit. 
    • Solution: Unplug the power cord from the wall socket. Replace the fuses as shown in the instruction manual. When they burn out again: warn the supplier.

Unit does not fog, but does blow air

If the unit of the Enbar LVM does not fog, but does blow air it can mean the following:
  • Possible cause:No liquid, suction nozzle blocked or broken.
    • Solution: Remove the hose from the nozzle and rinse or replace it. 
  • Possible cause: The fluid limiter is clogged. 
    • Solution: Loosen and this part and the hoses and replace it. 
  • Possible cause:The nozzle is clogged. 
    • Solution: Carefully disassemble the nozzle and clean the parts. Do not polish or file! 
  • Possible cause:Nozzle gasket leaking. 
    • Solution: Dismantle the nozzle and replace the gasket. 
  • Possible cause: Suction filter is clogged. 
    • Solution: Dismantle the filter and rinse it clean. 
  • Possible cause:Suction filter seal leaking. 
    • Solution: Dismantle the filter and replace the seal. If the unit of the Enbar LVM does not fog, but does blow air it can mean the following:
  • Possible cause:No liquid, suction nozzle blocked or broken.
    • Solution: Remove the hose from the nozzle and rinse or replace it. 
  • Possible cause: The fluid limiter is clogged. 
    • Solution: Loosen and this part and the hoses and replace it. 
  • Possible cause: The nozzle is clogged.

Unit does not fog or blow air

If the unit of the Enbar LVM does not fog or blow air, there are several causes:
  • Possible cause:Solenoid valve is defective.
    • Solution: Warn the supplier. 
  • Possible cause:Fuse defective in the control cabinet. 
    • Solution: First remove the plug from the wall socket and check if a fuse is defective. If this is the case, warn the supplier. 
  • Possible cause: The air valve on the tank is closed. 
    • Solution: Check the position of the air valve. 
  • Possible cause:The adjusting knob of the pressure control valve is closed. 
    • Solution: Turn this knob during fog until the pressure gauge of the control valve is 6 bars.

Other malfunctions or problems

If the Enbar LVM shows any other faults or problems, please consult your dealer. Note: Always ensure that the Enbar LVM fluid reservoirs have been emptied and rinsed clean before handing over the unit for repair!

Maintenance
